Kasia Blanchard

I'm a self taught artist living in the Tampa Bay area with my husband, two daughters and a cat.

I mostly paint in watercolors either on paper or on aquabord which is a wonderful surface allowing watercolor painting to be sealed and later framed glass free. My second medium of choice are soft pastels.

My favorite subjects are living creatures. I enjoy mostly painting people and animals. Still life, plein air - not so much.

I love all form of art and creativity.

I have an MBA. I worked as an accountant for many years and painted at night or any time I had a minute, until I finally decided to take a dive and become a full time artist.
