Fran Lea

Internationally renowned, multi-award winning, London-based Film Director and Screenwriter Fran Lea is an experienced oil painter that uses her artwork to explore ideas, narratives and varying emotional states. It shows her ongoing commitment and interest in exploring the universal dilemmas of being human.

In the recent UK Lockdowns Fran Lea spent her time between a beach house in Kent and a shed in London. She painted the views and objects around her by the sea. And in her London shed she picked five emotional states and painted them: No self doubt, Confident, I am unsure, Fearless and Face Reality.
