Frieda Meaney

I live in a very remote and wild part of the south west of Ireland called the Beara Peninsula. It is a geographically challenging place to live as there is always the ever-present weather to refer to and all decisions are ultimately at the mercy of the meteorological patterns from the great Atlantic.
Since moving here permanently three years ago I'm a regular snorkeler and the underwater world has provided me with great inspiration for my work.

!976-79 Studied Art & Design in Limerick.
More recently has completed several print courses, plus basic filmmaking.
