Gabriel Velijanashvili

I was born in the country Georgia. I live in a place where everything is constantly changing and you constantly have to adapt.

My work pursues these changes expressing human emotions and feelings: Happiness, sadness, pain, regret...My art work is based on the human emotions where deep pain is reflected and contribute to the positive development

My artwork is eclectic not only by style but also by the source material I use.

It is very realistic and the relationship between abstract shapes on the surface makes my work very interesting.

I use different materials such as:rope, thread, fabric, sawdust, glue and oil paints

1986: graduated Gori Art Schoo; 1986 - 1990: Tuganov Tskhinvali Art High Schoo.. graduated with speciality "Artist Decorator"; - 1995: Tbilisi State Academy of Art: graduated as monumental-decorator artist;

1997: became a member of the Union of Artists of Georgia and from there participated in various exhibitions; 1998: personal exhibition; 2002: personal exhibition;
