dConcepts/Myths&Symbols
The title explains in a nutshell what it is all about. The subjects manner is presented as is, thus in a conceptual way. However the title applied to earlier work but still holds as one can find many myths and symbold in the works that are reinterpreted.
When it comes to concept, being an idea, a plan or intention seems appropriate because the work, once the concept is accompliced and being digital can be done in a relatively short time. On the other hand it is relative because it took by and by about ten years to mature what I am doing now.
Until 2006 I did a lot of painting with some minor success. It never developed into a style as soon I was on to something it slipped away just about every two years.
Getting into computer graphics initially in 1995 it developed side by side painting.
In 2006 I decided to give up painting altogether and give all my attention to computer graphics, at first also some 3D, but eventually 2D, mainly Photoshop but also GIMP, which is open source and similar.
