Georgie Dunn

Georgie Dunn channels the energy of her surrounds into paintings that pocess a vibrant tranquility.

Predominantly painting with watercolours and ink, recently she has been exeprimenting with mixing mediums by introducing soft pastels and gouache into her creations. Heavily inspired and re-energised by the ocean and nature, you will find textures and patterns, concepts and feelings found and evoked by these special places within the artists paintings.

Dunn says about her creations, " I paint what wants to be seen. I don't believe in mistakes, and let the paintings create themselves. I just let it come through me, and have fun with them! Maybe I look crazy sometimes when I ask them what the heck they're doing on my paper, or tell them how beautiful they are. Haha!"
