Giangi, whose real name is Gian Luca Cornelio, was born in Pavia, Italy in 1964. He studied geology at the local University of Pavia, continued with his specialization at the Scripps Institute of Technology in San Diego, USA,obtaining MBA in oceanography sciences. Since 1991 he has lived and worked in Prague. In 1997, his life has been fundamentally influenced by the birth of his twins (daughter Rebecca and son Filippo).
Painting has become an integral part of his life, even though he makes a living in another professional field. For Giangi, painting is the source of his life’s energy and thought.
