Giuseppe Migale

Born and raised in Italy, I moved to the UK in 2016 and living in London since 2018.

I am a self-taught painter and a digital artist. My view of the world is through a geometric filter where everything can be represented by a specific shape, made only of a combination of straight lines.

My work is characterised by the absence of curved lines or circles which represent for me, my distinct character trait of being straightforward and direct.

Bold blocky uniform colours are another element that features prominently in my works. Lines are usually used to confine these colours and give them specific and exacting presence within each artwork.

My work goes from completely abstract pieces to more graphic illustration subjects in an eternal battle between my need to push the boundaries of my creative process and a deep-seated rationalism that provides each artwork a structure and precision of elements that ensure an intense attention to detail.

I am an Electrical Engineer graduated at Politecnico di Milano.

My first art fair was in September 2023 at The New Artist Fair in London, which I also designed the official poster for.
