Born in 1959, Berlin

Being trained as costume designer, I have worked as creative director for international high-fashion-brands until 2007.
In 2000 I started to strike a new path like an artist, focused on the following topics:
Photography.
Portrait series of Sea containers, as allegory for globalization
Old and new industry details, as documentation of time, space and materiality
For mainly large-sized photographs I use a manual medium format, Pentax 67, guided by available light only, without any further technical support. There is no digital post production. The originally chosen framing is the one! Each photograph is unique !!

Paintings/ assemblages
Old and used material as a storyteller by itself delivers a perfect ground, transforming letter art and abstract work into haptic perception
Made of fibreglass-tarpaulin of the 1960s, old industry windows, truck-tarpaulin, rope, billboards etc.
