The most important thing for me is inspiration and creation. I have a real joy in filling a blank canvas with my feelings or passing a message. I work by instinct, I improvise movement, that's why I rarely make sketches.
I am often inspired by Philome Obin, Frida Kahlo, and Jackson Pollock. My style is a mixture of naive expressionism and calculated casting, guided by my studies in art history where I discovered these artists who have marked me. I am perpetually in search of inspiration, in everyday life, current events, and even in my loved ones, in short, my work represents my mood and my stories.
You will notice changes in the lines, the movements of the characters, and the nuances of the colors, over time, I have spent a lot of time studying the different types of colors to match, the reactions between them, such as transparency and opacity. I am aware that I do not respect the rules of art, I paint from the heart and emotions, sometimes my works may have similarities but each one tells its own story.
I don't do any tests or sketches before I'm done. I always have something to say and a lot on my mind. So, it's easier for me to express myself the way I do. I like modern and abstract painting with a touch of naivety. My paintings are reflections of my reality and of what is in my thoughts. I don't try to give meaning to my paintings, for people but to express myself, but it can be an arrow for all those who are touched, because art is in the eyes of those who see it.
