Joanna Sarapata

In 1986 artist graduated with merit from L’ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. 11 of her paintings were admitted to the archives of the college. Since 1987 her paintings have been exhibited in France, where she worked and lived for 20 years. She has been also exhibiting in Spain, Monaco, Germany, USA, Switzerland and since 1998 in Poland as well. Joanna sarapata is mostly renowned for painting, but scenography and posters are among her artistic skills too. In 1996 she won the first prize in the poster competition organized by the Paris opera. The main inspiration of her painting is female nude.
Among admirers of her work are such prominent personalities as Jose Carreras, Placido Domingo, Elton John, Patricia Picasso, John Raid, Scott Bromley (Studio 54 architect), Rami Grumach, Rosemarie di Sapio , Rossy de Palma, Malgosia Bela, Gene Gutowski and many others.
She cooperates with a Spanish architect Ricardo Bofill, who will place her works – as the only living artist – in the female nudes gallery, a part of the prestigious Moscow residence.
