Jodi Castagnozzi

I’m Jodi Castagnozzi a fine artist from Milwaukee, Wisconsin working in acrylics and oil. A principle theme and passion continues to be the female figure, the ocean and Great Lakes and the cosmos. I have been a practicing astrologer for over 30 years as well.
My figurative work elicits mystery and a narrative story that is unique to every viewer. Over the years I have finished numerous series of cafe figure, theater on the beach and strong story telling narratives.

In 2016 I began moving into large semi abstract seascapes, inspired by my love of the ocean waters and my time in Florida painting each winter.

From turbulent water to the vast star filled sky, I try to infuse emotional depth while maintaining hopeful light into these layered acrylics. To me they perfectly mirror all of our subtle and changing emotions in living color.
