John Kelly

American artist living in Paris.

Every human who has ever lived, no matter who, is a world whose landscape is intricate, mysterious, heartbreakingly beautiful and terrifying. If I can capture a small part of that using canvas and paint, light and shadow, color and invisibility, I will consider myself partly successful, but then again it's going to take a lifetime to get even a little bit close.
