Jose Abelardo Espinel Campos

I was born in Bogota. Since 1991 I have lived, worked and exhibited my works in Colombia, Italy, Netherlands, Spain and Poland.
The inspiration for me is the nature and my own experience. My favorite subject is man and his environment- real or fantastic.
My work is characterized by the richness and softness of the colors of the tropics.

I graduated from the Painting at the National University in Bogota (1990). In 1996 I completed postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome (Academia di Belle Arte di Roma).
