Joseph Gerardi

As an abstract generative artist, I explore the intersection between creativity and technology and the dynamic relationship between humans and machines. Using algorithms and computer programs, I can generate unique visual patterns and shapes that would be impossible to create by hand.

My creative process is both systematic and intuitive. I start by setting specific parameters within the software, allowing the algorithm to generate unexpected and surprising results. The final output is a collaboration between myself and the machine, influencing the other unexpectedly.

My art is not about creating a specific image or message but exploring the infinite possibilities of form and color. Through my work, I aim to create a visual language transcending traditional representation and tapping into the subconscious mind.

Ultimately, I challenge the viewer's perception of reality and encourage them to see the world differently. By embracing the unpredictable nature of generative art, I aim to inspire others to embrace the unknown and explore the limitless potential of the creative process.
