Growing up in Oregon, I had a wall-sized, tree photo mural in my bedroom. I knew every inch of it before I left for college. As a photo editor and photographer for most of my adult years, I sought out trees as subjects, always thinking of new ways to capture their beauty. Arbor Knits "grew" from my love of nature, trees, and big warm sweaters.
Trees tell beautiful stories of growth, strength, and support. By salvaging branches and treasure hunting for old sweaters, I can give a new life to both. I'm a reuse kind of gal. I have expanded my shopping to reusing wires, conduit, and pipes, and pvc...keeping them out of landfills.
I currently reside in Seattle with one cat, one dog, one husband and one teenage daughter.
