Kevin Jjagwe

Kevin is a Ugandan artist, living and working in Kampala City. He got the opportunity to connect and work with fellow young artists in Kampala, after his junoir level of school and since then, Kevin has always been recognized for his outstanding talent and passion.
With alot of inspiration from nature, Kevin always desires to express the beauty of nature through his colorful, textured animal and landscape artworks.
With the use of acrylic paint,oil paint and sometimes fabrics, it's always amazing to watch him touch and apply paint onto canvas with palette knives and brushes.

Kevin's artworks are are very colorful and it's joyful to watch them hanging in living spaces and galleries. He has exhibited and sold his artworks across Uganda, in Europe and in the United States.

ARTIST STATEMENT:
I'm so much drawn and motivated by the beauty of colors. I love it when I apply thick attractive colors onto canvas.
With inspiration from nature, I create art that brings joy and memories.
