As a professor of engineering, I seek the connection between structure and creativity.
I have been working as an artist for around 20 years – self-taught, but continually trained at german academies such as Bad Reichenhall, Augsburg, Abendschule der Städelschule and with Prof. Jo Bukowski at the Alanus Werkhaus of the Alanus University in Alfter.
In my paintings and prints, especially oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings, as well as etchings, I work abstractly and expressively. Central motifs are stones and rocks, symbols of permanence and substance. They represent the transcendence of time, a connection between generations, and what endures.
My art is a dialogue between the moment and eternity. It invites the viewer to pause, discover structures—and thus experience time itself.
