I admit I am a greedy. I want a lot: to learn, to understand, to experience. As it happens, the world is complex and the possibilities are boundless. I remember my first purposeful manifestation of this greediness when I, as a small child, tried to find out why is my grandmother’s alarm clock ticking. The knowledge I gained then was not exclusively positive…

And so - into the air – by self-made model planes or in a paraglider; - into the water – in a sail boat or on a windsurfing board. And this is just a beginning.

From all my childhood toys, I was attracted the most to my color pencils. I would not let them go. That led to the four years at the Šiauliai Children’s Art School. The experience was wonderful and let me hope that my life would be tied in with art in one way or another. Since I was greedy, I also graduated from the “Fotonas” School of Young Physicists at the same time.

I did not hesitate to choose the Art Department of the Šiauliai University when a time came to start college. As an art student, and after the graduation in 1987, I painted and participated in exhibitions in Šiauliai and throughout Lithuania.
