Rodrigo Lebrun

My name is Rodrigo Lebrun, I’m a Brazilian-born artist and researcher living in Paris. I obtained a MA from the Royal College of Art in the UK in 2015.
I use humour, parody and multilayered storytelling to trigger conversations about contemporary conditions, touching upon the environment, consumerism, identity, economics, popular and high culture.
I make things with computers and by hand. My practice changes continuously as a result of my prolific understanding of technology, my enthusiasm for materials and my personal quest in trying to conceptually subvert both. These can be manifested in sculptural work, multichannel video installations, participatory games, short stories and code-based artwork.
