Lucy Klimenko

I love creating large, surrealistic pieces. The paintings always have details that give away clues. Every piece is a mini-novel written in colour, with the protagonists facing conflict due to circumstances that are not of their own making. Some are taking it with quiet sadness, but some are engaged in a feisty fight against their fate. My work appeals to the subconscious world of dreams and feelings, but, at the same time, (hopefully) makes people think. I do believe that art should be beautiful and thrive to create high-quality pieces.
