When the purpose of an object is no longer relevant or the object has no relevant purpose we are left with an interpretation purified from logic. These satirical ideas craft the way in which the humorist presents theory to the alien. As the function is striped from factual authority it spawns a social commentary on personal perception and relation. Separated from imposing reason the most ordinary of objects can become a contemporary artifact exhibiting our most cherished cultural heritage.

The painting of the evidently normal discloses the reasonable absurdity of the assigned expectation. The utterly mundane can become extraordinary from an amended perspective. Paintings such as a hand holding a California roll only becomes notable when the hand is revealed to be that of a gorilla’s or a phooey tree cell-phone tower presented as a sapling in a plastic pot are used to reach these results. With incoherent reason and a bastardization of the culturally sacred we bring discourse to the ego of our greatness.
