Marcus Wilson

I am a self taught artist that practices in oil painting and uses art to inspire and provoke thought in others. My work highlights the beauty, diversity, and culture of the black diaspora, while telling the allegory of a spiritual journey. Art has always been a part of my life and used as an outlet to express myself. With practice and growth I've taught myself to be versatile in the art I create, so that I can build new and exciting opportunities in my work. My inspiration derives from life experiences, passion of history, music, and most importantly my spirituality.
