Maria Kireev is an Israeli artist born in Ukraine. Her decision to become an artist was evident even before school; she was always admired and interested in nature, people, animals, birds. Many hours passed in contemplation and sketches of everything that surrounded her. It was something similar to meditation, a complete withdrawal into its parallel space. As a result of the synergy study of reality and its small embellished, vivid plots of paintings are born.
Maria has a classical higher art education, working in her favorite profession (painting, graphics, and illustration) for over 20 years, and teaches painting to children and adults.
A rich range of colors and life-affirming energy gives the viewer a sense of the power of beauty. Maria's paintings exaggerate and embellish what surrounds us, but this is her free narration and interpretation of what she saw, this is an intentional move in her painting.
Maria chooses a wide range of materials and subjects, mainly portraits, landscapes, still lifes. She is subject to oil and acrylic, pastel, watercolor, pen and ink, digital painting.
