Mariya Nesvyetaylo

Born in Ukraine, living and creating on the northern mountains of Portugal.
I have painted since I can remember , and do not intend to stop as it is one of the more accurate ways i found to communicate. In painting, what interests me the most - is the exploration of the most possible direct gateway to the sub-conscious mind and it's dance and trace upon a surface.
Due to elongate visual and expressive possibilities I also explore other media , such as screen printing, linocut, video, performance and music.
Also, I am currently developing a teaching program for kids which encompasses and blends body expression, sound and painting as an alternative way of expression and thinking. These workshops are also a great source of inspiration and research on art, human behavior and communication.
