Matthias Heymel

His works on nature patterns and the relativity of perception are mostly created over long periods of time. The realisation often takes place at special, authentic natural sites, using photographic means. Essential design elements are precise planning, meditation and chance, light and darkness, perspective and time. By combining different perspectives and periods of time, he uses elaborate collages of natural patterns to aim at the meta-level of being.
