Miri is an Argentinian-born artist based in Israel. Painting is her second career, following 25 years in the high-tech industry. Painting has always been her most profound passion. She paints abstract and figurative-modern styles.
She took a drawing class in the house of artists in Tel Aviv, followed by several oil painting workshops. Besides that, Miri is a self-taught artist. mainly the abstract style.
She has developed various abstract painting techniques, utilizing standard and less conventional tools.
Her abstract works are highly diverse, depending on the technique she uses. The beginning is intuitive, and later, she examines the painting on the computer screen to decide how to continue. This creates an ongoing dialogue with the canvas until Miri feels the work is complete.
In her figurative works, Miri starts with a realistic drawing, and during the painting stage, she incorporates abstract elements. Sometimes the abstract additional elements are minimal or none, and sometimes they become more dominant
Miri has participated in 2 solo exhibitions and several group exhibitions in Israel, Italy, Madrid, and the USA. She was featured in the Gold List of top contemporary artists in International Art Market Magazine in October 202...
