Julia Purinton

An artist plagued by wanderlust, I divide my time between Baltimore, MD and Vermont's Mad River Valley, frequently visiting the North Shore of Boston, the Brandywine River Valley, and the Pacific Northwest. I form strong attachments to places I've lived & visited, and tend to infuse landscape with my memories of childhood fairytales.

After receiving my BA in Fine Arts from Harvard College, I studied at the School for Visual Arts in New York City before starting my mural & decorative painting company, Medusa Studio.
