About my paintings - it’s a free, gestural process, which reminds of free associations in meditation. I see one point and the whole, almost at the same time. I let my instinct and emotion flow, I form a composition that satisfies my aesthetic, emotional, and spiritual pursuit. What seems coincidence at the beginning is a product of systematic observation of every little detail. Enjoy this view with me. Thank you!

The soul of photography is unchanged. It is like painting; the canvas and brushes are basically the same as one hundred years ago.


My biggest artistic influencers and inspiration-makers are the legendary Chinese photographer Mr. Fan Ho (1931—2016) and the great Czech photographer Mr. Josef Koudelka (born 1938).

My first and most important painting / photography teacher was my grandfather - Bruno RIEDEL (1904 - 1975), he graduated at Glass School in Kamenický Šenov (Czechia), in the specialization of glass painting and later also studied glass grinding and design. He worked in various companies in Czechoslovakia and Germany as a glass designer and product photographer.
