Mohiuddin Ahmed

I am Mohiuddin Ahmed, an artistic photographer with over 40 years of experience transforming emotions into timeless masterpieces. My journey began in 1982, inspired by the unwavering support of my parents and the guidance of my mentor, the legendary Mr. Monzu Alam Beg. Together, they instilled in me a deep passion for storytelling through the lens.

Honored with the National Award of Bangladesh and a Gold Medal from the Chittagong Photographic Society, my work is celebrated globally for its creativity and emotional depth. My artistic vision transcends boundaries, leaving an indelible mark in Bangladesh, Canada, and Australia. Currently resides in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Mohiuddin Ahmed's education in photography and television production began with a Diploma in Freelance Photography from the College of Freelance Photography in Sydney, Australia, followed by a Diploma in Television Production majoring in Electronic Camera and a Diploma in Photography from the Beg-art Institute of Photography in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Philosophy from Jagannath University in Dhaka.
Ahmed has completed several workshops and training courses in different aspects of media, including Electronic Media at NIMC and the American Centre of U.S. Embassy in Dhaka, Television Lighting Techniques at the International Television Training And Consultancy in Brixton, England, and Professional Studio Lighting at the Australia Canter for Photography in Sydney.

Over the years, I have showcased my fine art photography in numerous solo and group exhibitions across Bangladesh, Canada, and Australia. Each exhibition has been an opportunity to connect deeply with audiences and share stories through carefully curated visual narratives.
