Onira Lussier is an artist from Montreal (Canada). Following a career oriented around the performing arts (theater and dance), she completed a master's degree in arts at the University of Quebec in Chicoutimi (2016), where she specialized in drawing. As part of her practice, which is steeped in her theatrical background, Onira is particularly interested in the phenomenological study of the body of the artist to her medium. Her drawings, often presented in large formats, are conceived as sculptural spaces within which she deploys oscillating universes between the organic and the mineral. She has since completed several residencies and received various recognitions. Her work has been shown in Canada, Norway and Italy, among others.
