Peter Moelsted

My art works are inspired by dance and music, and express human emotions, energy and intensity, the art pieces are created to bring thoughtfulness, strength, and joy of life to the viewers. The images should give the viewer a loving kick to focus on the beauty, sensual and soft sides of life.

"He orients himself very much towards the French expression and probably identifies more with French art than Danish art. Poetry, the refined and Francophile, is close to his heart, not the slightly heavier, melancholic and darkly Nordic. Simplicity is a key word for Peter Moelsted. It should not be boringly precise, but strict in thinking and form, and with this he is very modern as an artist. His artist statement reads: "I work continuously with constructive dynamic sculptures and mobiles in metal and abstract painting, where movement and balance are recurring themes inspired by dance, music and nature."
