Polly Norman

Currently, I am working in two mediums. One is creating fine art prints that combine photography and digital art. My second medium is a new endeavor creating abstract fused glass wall hangings.

Like my past abstract work, they reflect my love of dance with the energy, motion, and form they project.

Many years ago I invented a unique process of photographing objects through glass block in black and white. The images were enhanced by adding an additional layer of images and/or coloring. A painter and a photographer, I had combined the two mediums in my collections of abstract colored black and white photographs.

I am inspired by dancers movement and the music that moves them. My artwork has been described as kinetic, flowing and full of energy!
