I am a mixed media artist and painter originally from Chirmiri, a coal-mining town rich with forests and wildlife. Growing up in this raw, textured environment deeply shaped my visual language. My work often explores the contrasts between nature and industry, memory and change—drawing inspiration from both my roots in Chirmiri and my 16 years in the vibrant chaos of Mumbai and now in Hyderabad. I use layered textures, natural pigments, charcoal, and found materials to reflect stories of place, identity, and transformation. Alongside my contemporary practice, I also create traditional Madhubani paintings, where I reconnect with Indian folk traditions and storytelling. Through each piece, I aim to bring together the earthy silence of the forests, the grit of the mines, and the ever-shifting spirit of the city.
