Géraldine Moralès is a contemporary French artist who currently lives and works near Paris. His scientific studies (doctorate in chemistry) have allowed him to develop a whole range of skills. The chemist's experimental approach continued in her artistic career: the use of solvent, medium... she began to practice watercolor, pastel as a technique in different workshops. The discovery of oil painting, more sensual, was a click for her to start as a professional artist; at the same time, she continues to improve with the painter Christoff Débusschère from the famous Ecole Etampes. Through her initial training, she combines science and feelings in each creation. For her, painting is a process that involves as much science as art. Her painting is constantly evolving as well as the choice of her themes, she essentially nourishes her inspiration with nature. She is not looking for hyperrealism but rather a dynamic to her painting so that it is spontaneous and alive. His art is figurative, marked by the desire to show all that is beautiful and restful in this world. She paints in her workshop or outdoors mainly on the allaprima motif. His approach is focused on the search for the balance of values and contrasts to put light in his paintings. Throughout her work, she strives not to dirty her tones by using different brushes for each value. She starts with large touches of color with large brushes that require wide and precise gestures, to finish with small brushes defining a few details and show only the essentials. She uses solid colors and fades to create harmony and sensitivity from her paintings.
