Rainer Keller

Rainer Keller (Swiss, born 1964) is an artist, based in New York City.

He creates art, often in series, with inspiration from the world at-hand. It is conceptualized from both his head and heart using oil, acrylics and ink in a wide variety of genres including portraits, landscapes, abstracts and collages.

Rainer was born, raised and educated in his native Switzerland and has made New York City his home since the mid aughts. He has traveled extensively throughout Europe, Asia, the United States and Central America. The ability to absorb cultural differences and gain artistic insight from the richness of each location and the depth of his experiences, colors all of his work.

Rainer is also a Master Typographer and a graduate of the Zurich School of Applied Arts. In addition to his fine art, he currently uses his visual, creative and technical talents as a Graphic Designer.

He has participated in solo and group exhibitions in New York, New Orleans, Los Angeles, and Switzerland and his works hang in private collections in the U.S. and Europe.
