Rona Conti

I have been a painter, pulp painting artwork creator and Japanese calligrapher for over 50 Years. In 1999 I moved to Japan and divided my time between there and Boston until 2012 while studying calligraphy. I continue my calligraphy studies and exhibit and sell my work in painting and handmade paper pulp art.

Study of Art in Paris 1961-1962, Academy of the Grand Chaumiere. BA from Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio, USA in 1964. Studies at Boston University in drawing. Studies in ceramics at the Boston Museum School. Continuing studies in Japanese calligraphy to present.

I have been in more than 50 group and solo exhibitions in the USA, Japan, China, New South Wales, Russia, and Paris. I have work in private and corporate collections and in museums such as The Rose Art Museum in Waltham, MA.
