The majority of my work is created using graphite and oil paint with an emphasis on narrative story telling. I'm currently living and working in the small town of Appalachia within the Appalachian mountains of Southwest Virginia, USA.
I've studied with some of the best narrative painters/illustrators in the United States. I've also had the great opportunity to study with noted figure painter Burton Silverman. Aside from that, I've been pursuing self-study for a number of years by studying the works of the Old Masters in such museums as, The Metropolitan Museum in New York City, the Clark Institute in Massachusetts, and the Prado Museum in Madrid, Spain to name a few.
