Ryan Dubinsky

I have lived near Seattle most of my life. My family spent a lot of time camping in the mountains and doing extreme sports. It was always an adventure. For school, I wanted to try the East Coast. Every chance we had my group of friends and I would go off to see some new beach or historical sight.

I started working with wire when I was in middle school but took a break after I got sick. I was diagnosed with Alopecia and a few other chronic illnesses that took me out of the game for a bit. I came out of the experience bald and a little confused. Once I started to create again I found I still liked working with wire. My professors in college found out and really encouraged me to challenge myself. Since then I’ve had work in two shows in London and been invited to a show in Italy. Covid put the kibosh on Italy but I don’t plan on slowing down.

Graduated in 2020 with a bachelors degree in Fine Art from Southern Virginia University.
