Sentier Assemblages

I have been practicing visual arts for several decades. I am engraver in intaglio, sculptor, scenographer, I paint, the drawing is central to my purpose. I use various software for image editing, layout, video editing and computer graphics. I lived for almost thirty years in the Caribbean, which totally changed my outlook on the world. For me, art is not only about creating forms and images, it’s a way of being, positioning as an individual.

I am a visual artist and teacher. Since August 2017, I live in Brittany.
I have been teaching at the art school of Fort-de-France for twenty-eight years and I have been a lecturer in higher education institutions in Martinique too. After studying in art schools in Paris (Applied Arts and Fine Arts) and after working as a painter and sculptor for the theatre on the French territory for ten years, I went to live in Martinique in 1989. I realised many theatrical scenography and I regularly presented my creations in the Caribbean and in the Hexagon. I graduated from the art school of Lorient and I hold a PhD in arts (Panthéon-Sorbonne University in Paris).

2023: "Maman j’ai peur", solo exhibition at B.R.E.F (Bar Ruche artistique Éphémère et Fertile) in Vannes (Morbihan)
2022: "Fatras et fracas", duo exhibition with the photographer Wilfried Thomas, Bazar Saragoz Cultural Center, Saint-Pol-de-Léon. Creation of "Manman Dlo", a monumental oak sculpture made live on the Sainte-Anne beach in Saint-Pol-de-Léon, (end of July - beginning of August).
