Sergio Petrelli

My work aims to remove the boundaries of traditional photography by experimenting with new spaces. I create abstract illusions, blurring the lines between hard-core reality and pure imagination. I also experience metamorphosis addictions, or digital manipulations pushed to their highest possible level. I like to indulge in water and light obsessions, capturing dreamlike images while admiring the beauty of instant, ephemeral scenes. I enjoy adventuring into wide horizons, made of urban environments or natural landscapes. I ultimately explore life's every-day mystery, full of my perception of captured tensions.

With each image, I challenge the viewer's perception of reality. My art is an invitation to question our understanding of the world around us and marvel at how fascinating and beautiful it is.
