Shery Syed

I Started my journey from a medical background, which motivated me to a point to pursue knowledge in every way and form, regardless of medium or genre. I have been introduced to travel and self dependency very early. Most of which existed in books, and being my first love opened up doors to curiosity and reasoning. My grandfather, who also was my teacher and mentor, took me to museums and libraries often. Then I was introduced to fine arts, and philosophy that encouraged me to pursue it as academic requirement.

I was always fascinated by Astrophysics, Psychology, Philosophy and Theology, and painting was always a hobby, something to keep me going on and act as a therapist in stressful and hard times. Then I decided that I will in fact address philosophies and Psychological disorders on a canvas. 'A picture is worth a thousand words', was something that kept me dedicated. And I would paint and sketch neural disorders and phobias of what I knew, and represent them in a way that most people understood.
