I have never been able to answer the question why I paint. Just becouse I must!
I like the excitement, pleasure and tension that accompany creation in all kinds of art and craft.
I get taken up with a feeling, and mood and thought, and in starts to form a picture.
The love of painting, experimenting with materials and techniques and passion for colours have been with me since I was a teeneager.
I also like stone and marble too. I make sculptures too. Working as a restaurator allowed to me to try my hand at different materials and tools.
Designing the composition finding and arranging the appropriate colours and shapes,finishing the working process are finalized when, I hope, a picture elicits similiar feelings from the viewer as from me.
I leave the audience to interpret my paintings, but I holpe, that they will find my colours and shapes thrilling.
