Steph Goodger

I live and work between Bordeaux, France and the UK. The paintings tend to appropriate historical subjects from the 19th Century. Yet, by stripping away the historical context, the paintings often have no sense of definite place or time. The subjects are isolated in sort of nowhere spaces, where any clear narrative is precluded.
I am represented by Invisible Print Studio, Delta House Studios, Wimbledon.
