Tanya Bilous

Born and raised in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine in 1987, a city on the western side of Ukraine, I still live and work here. The war in Ukraine did not prevent me from working.
Coming from a family of artistic souls, I studied music and violin at high school. I also approached fine art, but at that time, I couldn’t find the right motivation to pursue a further interest. So, later on, I applied for psychology studies, a discipline that well suited my ability to deepen human emotions and feel helpful.
I started professionally doing art at the age of 27. Art is a part of my life and became a career as well. I am thrilled to follow the path of an artist and to explore what I can find there.
Today I shift between my two favorite fields: art and psychology. By seeing art as a tool to elaborate emotions and heal human matters. My paintings are abstracts, floral and landscapes depicting my inner flow. My paintings are influenced by the surroundings, my inner emotions and states as well as my travels.
I believe that art is an outer expression of artist innermost experience. My main concept is to transmit my experience in the most understanding and accepting way.
