Akintunde Emmanuel Olalekan

Born in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria, my artistic journey began in secondary school when I first sketched a portrait on a classroom table, a simple act that ignited my passion for art. This early discovery led me to pursue formal training, and I earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Fine and Applied Arts from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Oyo State. During my studies, I deepened my expertise in painting and drawing, refining my techniques and artistic voice.

As an artist, I embrace optimism and a growth mindset, believing in the transformative power of positivity in both art and life. My work primarily explores the vibrant possibilities of oil and acrylic paints, blending traditional and contemporary influences.

I have had the privilege of exhibiting alongside renowned artists both in Nigeria and internationally, contributing to the dynamic dialogue of the global art scene. Currently based in Abuja, Federal Capital of Nigeria, I continue to create, experiment, and share my vision through evocative and thought-provoking pieces.

I studied Fine and Applied Arts at Ladoke
Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Nigeria where i majored in painting, and I graduated with B.Tech (Hon. Fine and Applied Arts).
