Isabella Thermes (Tokki)
completed her first MA degree in Modern Literature, Philology and Art History in Italy, her country of birth.

She lived and studied in Boston, US and London, UK where she worked as a literary agent while nurturing a lifelong passion for illustration.

Some years ago she moved to Berlin to pursue a full-time career as illustrator and graphic novelist.

In 2016 she did her first solo exhibition in Italy (under the name of Isabella Thermes), began developing her first graphic novel ('The Human Heart') and started participating to collective exhibitions in Berlin and Madrid.

MA in Global Marketing Communication & Advertising (Emerson College, Boston MA, USA)

-2016 first solo exhibition, "Donne & Costumi di Sardegna" (58 pieces) - MEM, Mediateca del Mediterraneo, (Cagliari, Italy)
-2021 'Anxiety I' & 'Anxiety II' (Mixed-media illustrations) are selected to participate to the 'Small Works' exhibition (October) at LiTE-HAUS Gallery, Berlin;
-2021 'La Femme de Gauguin" & "Black Swan" (Mixed-media illustrations) are selected to participate to the online exhibition "Eternal" (November) at Capital Culture House in Madrid;
-2022 'Tempus Fugit" & 'Pandora's Box" are selected to participate to the exhibition 'Back in Black" at The Stage Gallery in Cologne (March);
-2022 'Hope I' and 'Hope II' are selected for the collective online exhibition 'Hope' (March) at Capital Culture House in Madrid -'Hope I' qualified for the jury 3rd prize;
-2022 'Balance I' & 'Balance II' are selected to participate to the collective online exhibition 'Wonder' (August) at Capital Culture House in Madrid;
