Valérie Roberge

I was born and raise in the city of Quebec, Canada, living in the city of Montreal.
At the age of sixteen years old, I undertake what will become my passion forever, my first trip abroad. Since then, the walls of my room were covered by images of different countries and landscapes. This allowed me to see through the walls, to see further.
I started by making collages with photos and images from magazines and with time I decided to concentrate more on photography. My main inspiration comes from my travels.

In symbiosis with wilderness and wide open spaces, where humans are virtually absent from the landscape, seeking purity, an intact nature. Listening to a hidden world, an invisible world. Sensibility is inevitably part of my state of mind and this is what I want to demonstrate by the authenticity of my photographs.

I'am self-taught in photography.
