My name is Michael Vatten. I do not pretend to solid knowledge of the art theory. Something else is more important In my works. For example, I take as a basis a picture of an architectural object in the landscape. Because any architectural objects possess an invaluable property of human subjectivity against the background of an objective picture of the world. Then, using ordinary artistic techniques, I create an ordinary flat picture. But it has a multi-layered reflection visual effects. Something like stereo images or holograms. But much deeper. Because, you feel something special at the moment of viewing such pictures. Perhaps this is a surprise from the observed effects of the depth of the layers and transparency created on an ordinary canvas. To do this, just look at the picture from a distance of about a meter at a some angle and slightly move the sight from element to element. It seems that the image is covered with glass, and you want to look inside picture. Suddenly at this moment that magic arises. You can reach the inner depth, and as a result is silence and harmony.
