Vivi Herrera

Her figurative works reflect the connection of each person with others through social and cultural activities. With a strong link in the woman and the feminine.
Using assemblages conquers the void and the spaces to include the viewer in the meaning. Taking it to be the moving and fluctuating part of the composition.
A recycled object may suggest an idea for a play to Vivi or the intention to represent it may suggest the object. At that moment a process begins in which the elements and the idea to be expressed make a constant pulse in the composition until they come together in harmony, generating peace and balance in the piece.
Currently Viviana produces around one work per month and many of them are requested in advance by curators and clients.
During his artistic career she has made assemblies with various materials. She currently uses recycled aluminium objects and wire mesh.

She graduated with honors as a Bachelor of Fine Arts from UNCuyo. She obtained Artistic Research scholarships. She was a tenured professor (by competition) of Three-dimensional Arts in the Visual Arts Faculty, IFDC El Bolsón, Rio Negro. His work integrates private collections from Argentina -Col. Ayala Suárez and Col. MoMa de Mora and Mariela Ivanier-, from the United States, Canada, Spain, Germany, France, Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Chile and Uruguay.
